Reasonable Use Policy

 

Overview

In compliance with national laws, and in order to ensure the quality of service and fairness to all users, SHost has established a series of fair use policies (AUP) for users, which restrict the content and behavior of hosting

In the process of using SHost's services or products, users must comply with the fair use policy. If the user violates the rules defined in the AUP, SHost will be dealt with according to the severity of the incident, through notification of rectification, warning, suspension of services, termination of services, compensation requirements, legal liability, etc.

 

Illegal Use

All services and products may not be used for illegal purposes, and the transmission, distribution, hosting, or linking to any content prohibited by law or regulation is prohibited.

 

Prohibited content

Pornography, gambling, promotion of violence, spreading of viruses and Trojan horses and any content that violates the laws of China and the United States, etc.

 

Prohibited Use

SHost reserves the right to suspend or terminate the service without notice and without liability for any violation of the following terms and conditions: SHost reserves the right to take appropriate action against users who violate the law:

 

  •   It is forbidden to build various public proxy programs, as well as the long-term occupation of resources abnormal. Refunds will not be accepted in the event of the above.

  •   Usenet
  •   About virtual currency (BitCoin etc.) mining
  •   Hentai@Home
  •   Facebook harvesting, crawling
  •   IP address spoofing
  •   Counterfeit brand websites
  •   Phishing websites
  •   Distributed computing platforms (e.g. World Community Grid, Folding at Home and other types of programs)
  •   Prime95
  •   Xunlei Crystal
  •   Web sites that earn money online
  •   Online attack (DDoS, CC) platform
  •   Website visitors, click-through rate programs (e.g. Liuliangbao, Traffic Wizard, HitLeap)
  •   iBusiness Promoter and other similar programs
  •   Traffic Ore
  •   Multics, CCcam, or other ID, account, sharing programs
  •   Using our IP addresses (IPv4 and IPv6) to evade IRC or forum bans and rules

Mail fair use rules

Mass mailing is not prohibited by law, but there is zero tolerance for spam.

 

Rules for reasonable use of hardware resources

VPS and shared server hardware environment are based on the principle of fair sharing, users are not allowed to continuously occupy a large amount of hardware resources (such as running a large amount of software that consumes hardware resources, continuous performance testing, etc.)

 

Rules for reasonable use of network resources

Unless otherwise specified, the network of all services and products is based on the fair share principle, and users are not allowed to continuously occupy a large amount of network resources (such as running BitTorrent, traffic ore, etc.) and use acceleration software such as FinalSpeed. Except for users who purchase dedicated bandwidth or dedicated servers

 

DDoS attack handling methods

When a (D)DoS attack is encountered, the IP address of the relevant service or product will be cleaned and bypassed or replaced. The first attack will be cancelled 48 hours after the attack has stopped, and the second attack will be cancelled 72 hours after the attack has stopped. Frequent attacks may lead to suspension or termination of related services or products. (All services caused by DDoS will not accept refund requests) If the user conducts DDoS attacks externally, the related services or products will be immediately suspended until the user checks and fixes the problem, if frequent external attacks occur, the related services or products will be immediately terminated

 

 

Prohibition of secondary sales of any kind

SHost prohibits secondary sales of any kind.

All problems that occur due to secondary sales are not related to SHost.

If secondary sales are found, the server will be shut down, the account will be deleted and no refund will be available.

SHost reserves the right of final interpretation of these terms and conditions.

SHost reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without notice.
